Although the QMS Policy Manual is organized based on the new numbering of Rev D, it is also structured to enable additional policy to be included for other management system or regulatory requirements. It is strictly limited to policy statements and does not simply restate the standard. Instead, the style of the manual is constructed to specify what policy the company has adopted to address the requirements of AS9100D. The primary intended audience is the company’s customer.
